1. About These Terms

These terms apply to every purchase made on Casa Masa website. By browsing our site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them carefully, and contact us at hola@casamasa.co.za if anything is unclear before you buy.

2. Who We Are

Casa Masa is an independent cookbook shop based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We write, print and sell the cookbooks of Mateo Rojas. Our registered address is 27 Fox Street, Maboneng, Johannesburg, 2094, South Africa.

3. Using Our Website

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to access it without permission, or copy its content, images or recipes for resale.

4. Your Account

When you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity on your account. Please let us know straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.

5. Orders and Acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you an order confirmation email. We may cancel an order if a book is out of stock, a price was shown incorrectly, or payment cannot be verified.

6. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT. Delivery costs are shown at checkout. We accept card payments, Instant EFT and SnapScan through secure, PCI-compliant payment providers.

7. Delivery

We deliver to street addresses and pick-up points across South Africa. Estimated delivery times are listed in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the books passes to you once they are delivered.

8. Returns and Refunds

Your rights to return a book are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

9. Intellectual Property

All recipes, text, photographs, illustrations and logos on this website and in our books belong to Casa Masa and Mateo Rojas. You may cook from them at home, but you may not reproduce or publish them without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

We take great care to test every recipe, but cooking results depend on ingredients, equipment and technique. Please check every recipe for allergens. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect losses.
